We're back

Hi everyone,

Well, we are back from our fantastic family vacation. We have been back for a few days now but things have seemed so hectic that we didn't get a chance to update this yet. We had an absolutely wonderful time. It was sad to leave but still good to get back. Tyrone, Randy and I nearly froze in the Deer Lake airport (a whopping 12 degrees when we were used to 30-40 degrees). We saw and did so many things in that 2 weeks that we will never remember it all. However, here are a few reminders of some of our favourites.

Here we are at MGM studios! My favourite!!

Tyrone is getting soaked at the Curious George
water park! (He is in the orange tank top under
the water)

This is what Randy calls his "paparazzi shot"
of Pluto!

Ty and Randy enjoying the Mighty Ducks
pool at Disney!

We saw some gorillas at play...amazing!

We also saw tigers lazing around.

We rode a roller coaster through Mt.Everest
(as shown in the background ) and were
chased by the infamous Yeti!

Randy reunited with his first love...Gremlins!

Chip and Dale would not pose with us until we
gave them some of Ty's candy that he just bought.
Little Devils!

Finally, our favourite ride, the rockin'
roller coaster! Upside down loops and
corkscrews...what a thrill....rode it 4 times.

Sea World!!!!

Hello to those of you who are checking this blog regularly. We had another fantastic day in the sunshine state. We hit Sea World today. It was fantastic. The very first ride we headed for was Journey to Atlantis (the drop part of the ride can be seen in the background behind Ty!!!

We fed birds and even chipmunks!! With all those french fries though, Randy figures the animals will soon have a heart attack!! Poor little clogged arteries!

It was a beautiful day and the scenery is amazing! Of course, we did see none other than the famous Shamu!!!! The Shamu show was great but we were sitting in the soak zone, which meant that Shamu splashed us with his tail and we got soaked...and I mean soaked. I did, however, manage to get a picture of Shamu before I had to put the camera away so it wouldn't get soaked as well.

Tomorrow, we are going to take it a little easier and spend the day by the pool and near the hotel. We may go play some minigolf and catch a movie too!! Even though there will be no theme parks, we will still have a blast.

Catch you tomorrow.

What a day!!!!

Hey everyone,

We spent a very full day at Universal Studios today....it was awesome!!! We left the hotel at 8:20 and returned at 11:00. We rode quite a few rides...the mummy ride was the most extreme of the day but Ty's favourite was Men In Black (Alien Attack). We are having a wonderful time. Here are a few pics of the day. Tomorrow we are heading to Sea World. Can't wait. Till tomorrow!

We're here!!

Hey everyone,

Well, it was an early rise of 3 am but we are finally here. We have already been to the hotel pool for a swim and we are now going to look for something to eat. It's a beautiful day and we are so excited to be here. I will update again later. Bye for now.

Back at Marble again!

Hey everyone,

I am writing to you from the wonderful Marble Mountain again. This is my very last course for my masters (yeeeaaa!!!) I will be completly finished in a few days. It has been a few weeks of hard work doing research and writing a research paper.

Ty is having a fantastic summer. He had an excellent report card so his lazy summer attitude is well deserved.

Ty, Randy and I are heading off to Florida next Wednesday, July 26th. We are all exciting (I'm a little nervous over the plane but I guess I just have to deal with it) We are hitting Disneyworld, Universal Studios, Seaworld, and god knows what else (Randy is always in charge of the itinerary). We will be adding photos daily of our trip to this blog so don't forget to check out our pics!!!!

Keith is home now....so good to have him back for a few weeks! He's off to Korea again in just a few more weeks. What an interesting world he lives in!

Dwayne will be home in a week or so. Can't wait to see him too (although Keith visits the Small house much more than Dwayne will....yes Dwayne, that is a challenge!). We will be in Florida when he lands but we will see him when we return.

Aunt Joy is coming in one week (yeaaaa!) I will get to spend a few days with her before I go.

Anyhoo, I must be going now and get back to work.

Remember, keep checking the blog from July 26 to August 9 for Florida pics.

Bye

The end is near

Hello again,

I thought that I would write a little update again while I am waiting for some pictures to upload onto my email. Everything is going excellent with us as usual (we are so blessed, aren't we?). Ty is still doing excellent in school (although he sometimes needs that little nudge, as we all did ) and has gotten the highest mark in class in his last Social Studies and Math tests. Randy, Tyrone and I had our first barbeque of the year today (April 1st).....can you imagine. There is no snow left on the patio and it was warm enough for Randy to barbeque with just his t-shirt on! Ty and I are counting down the weeks until summer vacation which is not too far away. Tyrone had his 12th birthday party two weeks ago (20 twelve-year olds....AAAAHHHH!). Then the week after that, Ty, mom, Erin, Denise (my colleague at school) and I went to see Rex Goudie in concert...he was really good live! We have been keeping busy and happy. Bye for now.

P.S. Check out Keith's blog...it is very funny! His address should be linked on my main page.

It's been a long long time

I know it has been a long time since we have updated our blog but I guess if my big brother has created one, I am not to be outdone!!! I have actually tried to update this blog 3 or 4 times with pictures, but it won't publish for some reason. Oh well.
Anyway, all is well. We had a fantastic Christmas! We even hosted 2 parties which turned out to be a very good investement with all the alcoholic beverages that were left at our house by various guests. Randy was impressed with that investement!
I have to go now and eat some pancakes....it is pancake day!!!! I will hopefully update again soon.
Bye
